It's Raining Hearts! - Elastic Waist Skirt 12-18 months

Every little girl should have a skirt or may be a dozen of them! They can't get enough of it. Of course, you can't get enough of them flaunting it. 

This was one of the first projects I completed using Brother. Sweet wore this with a pair of leggings in early February and received many compliments! Though I have made about three of these so far, this print is my absolute favorite!

The Lady Bug Dress - 2T

A lot has happened in sewing arena. Although I haven't updated this blog in a while, I have sewn a couple of cute stuff for Sweet including a peasant top and this beautiful dress. I have also ventured into pattern reading and customizing (not the commercial ones yet) and have had quite a success. This dress will be a testament to that (I hope) :).

Today (yesterday rather) is a special day for moms all over the world. My mommy dearest is here today and I wanted to sew something for her!! This is my first sewing project for my mom.

I searched the web for a simple yet cute sewing project that can double as a gift. I came across this tutorial.

Easy Boys' Summer Shorts (size 6)

I whipped up a pair of quick and easy shorts for Heart yesterday morning. I was so excited because the fabric is Heart's favorite. The reason is hidden in this picture! :)

I love it because it is a great way to add a splash of color to a boy's wardrobe.
